If you are staying on or near Bang Tao Beach at least
near Bang Tao Town (or else it is too far to walk), this
walk is for you.
If you are staying in the Bang Tao Beach area near the
Amora, Sunwing, Bang Tao Beach Resort, Bang Tao Lagoon
Bungalows, Bang Tao Chalet, or anything else in that area -
follow the beach road behind the Best Western Bang Tao Beach
Resort south and around to the T-junction. Turn left at the
T-junction to head into Bang Tao Village. Turn right to go
to the
Bang Tao Fish Market.
Turn left and walk 1.3 kilometers into the village area.
Along the way you will walk along a quiet village road and
see how most people in this area live.
When you pop out on to the main road you can turn right
and walk along the village for about 800 meters and see the
two large mosques that service this community. Also along
the way - across from the first 7-11 you will find will be
the village
Night Market.
If you walk to the left - you will walk into
Cherng Talay. It is a very
long walk to the right to complete a circle - so it is best
to return the same way you came.
